 Way Better Than Plastic Dishes August 1, 2010

Great for freezing small portions,any item that would stain,in-bed its flavors into a plastic dish similar type.
Heats well in microwave,
In oven usage ,thaw fridge,add dish at preheat cycle.

The whole point of buying a Pyrex jar with a lid is because you want to store something and not let the air get to it. These products are not fit for purpose in this regard. Even if you treat the lids carefully and wash them by hand and do not subject them to heat they soon become useless as an air proof lid. We bought some silicone lids and these work well but it is annoying that we bought a unified product from Pyrex that does not do the job it was sold for.
