I purchased this plastic lid to go with the oval CorningWare French White 2-1/2 quart dish but the plastic lid doesn't fit.

These really are a must when buying the Corningware French White line. The reasons I state this: Firstly,many of the baking dishes share the same lid, this can be a dilema when using both of those bases at the same time, Secondly, the plastic covers are flat for better stacking in the refrigerator. I truly think these are a must have!

I like to have plastic lids for my glasswear food storage. I use my corning even more with these lids. Mine only came with glass lids. Very good fit. Wash well in the dishwasher.

I have an old set of CorningWare that was made before they starting offering this nifty lid. It is great. I'll save lots of cling wrap by using this lid. The only issue I've had is getting it on because it's a very tight fit and tomato sauce stains it.
I would buy this again.
