These tongs are exactly what I needed for my range griddle. With the silicone ends and the 12" length, they are comfortable to use and very efficient. The stainless steel and the locking ring are also good features and add to the great quality of these tongs. I highly recommend them.

I bought the 12" and, in hindsight, should have bought the smaller version. These are well made ... quality material. The tips are very firm. Not quite as tactile as I would like but the length has something to do with that.

Cuisipro Silicone Locking Tongs 9.5 Inch, Red
These are the best I have ever used for frying,baking or grilling meat. The easy way they lock at the top is the greatest. I wish I had bought these before I wasted my money on the cheap kind . You will feel like a pro when you use these in your kitchen.

The locking mechanism on this pair of tongs is very difficult to use compared to that of EKCO tongs. As a result I have barely used them.
