It is interesting to watch and to see it cool my beverage at the same time. But one minor issue, due to the soft silicon base, I could not get the perfect shape of the cube every time!

The ice cubes melt very quickly, even in already cold drinks. But it's interesting and I still like them.

The "Cool Jewels" are very...er..well...cool ice cubes :-) The mold makes 6 jewel shaped ice cubes at a time. These come out of the silicone just fine and I don't expect any problems with it holding up over time.
For a little bit of fun, try adding a drop or two of food coloring or use a colored juice.
A little inexpensive fun! Recommended!

My boyfriend HAD to have these, along with the skull and crossbones ice cubes from the same company. They're fun to use, and a novelty for when friends come over!

Today the thermometer hit 84* (Cambridge, MA) and I was very pleased to receive my ice cube trays! The silicone is thick and seems durable, and I am sure it will be no problem to remove the gems. The jewels are everything I was hoping they would be, and I am very pleased.
