I have bought many knives from the R.H. Forschner line, and this one holds up to my high expectation just like the rest of the line. At the price, I am convinced that it is the best paring knife you can buy. The blade is high-quality and the handle is very comfortable.
The knife comes razor-sharp and will make simple kitchen tasks seem so easy. Highly recommended.

I'm a 64 yr old Grama, been cooking since I was 11. I'm a big fan of America's Test Kitchen and bought my first Victorinox knife on their recommendation. I'm buying these knives for my grown, children. These knives just keep on giving they stay sharp and are well balanced. I received my knives 3 days after ordering through Amazon. My next shipment came in 2 days. Unheard of at Christmas. Great job!!!!!

This knife is very sharp and comfortable to use. The handle doesn't seem to be the fibrox like the 8" chef's knife, it has a little less "grip" to it, but it shouldn't be a problem even if your hands are a little wet. For $5, I'd definitely recommend this knife. As someone who enjoys cooking, but doesn't want to spend a fortune on her hobby, this line of knives is perfect. They are so much sharper and thinner (but not flimsy) than others I have bought which makes kitchen tasks a breeze. It really makes me want to cook more when I have tools like this that work so well.
