2 out of 5 stars poor performance   May 5, 2008

I thought this product would be great being cordless BUT no way. It does not keep a charge and therefore completely useless. I charged knife for over 24 hours and blades barely move and will not slice anything. Wish I could return for a refund. I do not recommend this product at all.

2 out of 5 stars handle too big   April 28, 2008

We couldn't really use this knife because we couldn't get our hands around the handle. This made it hard to operate with one hand, so I had to use both hands and it was very awkward. It was hard to put enough pressure on the knife to get it to work properly. Not a good choice for women, if you have average size hands.

2 out of 5 stars Cordles knife a poor performer   April 13, 2008

The Ginsu Freedom Carver is not a good buy. After the batter was charged for 5 hours (one more than the minimum recommended,) the knife ran out of power before I finished carving a turkey. While still fully charged, the knife didn't have enough power to cut trough a crusty bread. When charged again and left fully charged (unplugged)overnight, the battery had lost power by the morning.
