No pineapple lover should be without this essential tool. It does what it says and works perfectly every time. We bought ours at the airport in Oahu in 2001 and it's still in excellent shape.

This little gadget is one of the most satisfying tools in my kitchen, in that it does what it was designed for perfectly every time. Whack off the top of your pineapple, easily screw this to the bottom and tug out a perfect pineapple spiral that you can turn into pineapple ring quarters with two quick slices of a knife. I hesitated between this plastic model and a similar (more expensive) metal model for sale elsewhere, but reviews of the metal model said it took out a smaller diameter of the pineapple, wasting fruit. So far there have been no problems or instances where I feared the plastic model would not be sufficiently strong or sharp.

This is one of the greatest kitchen gadgets I have ever used. You basically cut the top off of your pineapple and use this product. I think I was done in about a minute or less and my family was eating fresh pineapple. The pineapple was perfectly sliced and clean-up was a breeze. I honestly think most people will amazed at how well this works. I have always loved fresh pineapple but sometimes it can be a pain to clean. This takes the work out of it. I can't help but sing the praises of this kitchen gadget and I am sure you will too!!!

Really a wonderful product. Easily cored the pineapple and removed the outer skin, leaving it intact. The result was a spiral of edible pineapple in less then 15 seconds. The pineapple needs to be very ripe.
