Amazon.com Review This attachment turns your KitchenAid stand mixer into a citrus juicer, eliminating the need for a second appliance that would take up valuable kitchen storage and counter space. Its four parts--heavy-duty aluminum shaft, reamer, shield, and strainer--are easy to assemble and attach to the stand mixer's powerful motor. Turn the mixer speed to level 6, and the reamer maintains a fast and steady spin. Press your fruit halves against it, and the juice pours out. You do have to exert a bit of pressure to extract all of the juice, but it's certainly not difficult to use. The strainer basket holds back the pulp and seeds as the juice flows into your pitcher. --Betsy Danheim
Product Description Turn your trusty stand mixer into a citrus juicer with this attachment. You'll be able to process enough juice for the everyone's breakfast in just a few minutes.

juicer review July 12, 2010 db Seems to me to be a good HOME citrus juicer. It is not commerical quality. But it is not advertised as such either.
Not the best solution June 21, 2010 Henry Spencer (Arlington, VA USA) I buy limes in bulk and juice a lot at once to make sodas and margaritas. If you're doing a lot at once, this isn't the best way to go. Since the reamer is facing toward you instead of up, you have to press hard to get all of the juice out, which gets tiring after a while, and doesn't get all of the juice. I'm not sure, but it also seems to be putting a lot of stress on the motor from the sound of it.
Great juicer!! June 20, 2010 Boardingace (San Diego, CA) This attachment started out as one of my "least used," since the first time I made home-squeezed OJ, my husband couldn't stand it. I'm still growing up so it's hard for me to drink fresh OJ still, so I put this on the shelf and sort of wished I hadn't gotten it. Well now I love it! It is great for baking because if I buy an extra orange for zest (since we don't eat oranges - I know, not good), I will juice the fruit and drink the OJ or use the OJ in the recipe itself if it calls for it. Also there is nothing more fun than making a glass of lemonade from leftover lemons that I bought just for the lemon zest. So even a non-homemade-juice-drinking family likes ours gets some good use out of this lovely, easy-to-use, good quality attachment.
Does the job nicely May 20, 2010 Margaret Bryan Works well for lemons and limes. Have not had any liquid running down my hand. I use the KitchenAid metal bowl underneath to catch the juice which works well. No complaints about the strainer. Wish the head of the attachment were metal instead of plastic but otherwise recommend it.
Ok juicer April 22, 2010 KNS (Hawaii) This juicer works as well as can be expected. It's a bit awkward juicing something so high up on the machine and sideways. But it's better than doing it by hand, and it basically works and it wasn't expensive. I don't regret buying it, but it's nothing to get thrilled about.
