Product Description
Need bread crumbs? Or perhaps you like making your own lamb, chicken or pork burgers, or sausages? Then again maybe you make baby food at home to avoid artificial ingredients? For all of these tasks you can enlist the help of your powerful KitchenAid stand mixer thanks to this fabulous attachment.

Amazon.com Review
This tool increases the fun factor of your KitchenAid stand mixer several times over. Toss cubes of meat into the food tray, stomp 'em down, and watch the results wriggle out the front. Grind your own beef or chicken for patties or tacos. Blend your own sausage mixtures, from breakfast to boudin blanc. With additional attachments, you can turn it into a pasta maker or a sausage stuffer. It's easy to assemble and use. Most parts are dishwasher-safe; hand wash the grinding blades, wooden stomper, and cutting knife. --Betsy Danheim

5 out of 5 stars Great for home use!   March 14, 2010
M. Lucero (St. Augustine, FL)
I was very excited to get this and I was not disappointed. I used it to ground pork and it did the job very well. The discs were heavy weight and sharp, the meat went through with no problems at all. I have yet to try it out with chicken, beef and a mixture of all. For home use, this is a very handy gadget. You can buy meat by the bulk and get your ground meat fresh and cheaper.

5 out of 5 stars Food grinder & sausage stuffer   March 7, 2010
J. B. Fiacco (Summerville, SC USA)
I used both the food grinder and sausage stuffer yesterday. Both worked flawlessly. None of the problems or issues that showed up in some of the reviews. Made Italian sausage and it turned out great!

5 out of 5 stars Good product   March 3, 2010
Frank La Fauci (Coconut Creek, FL, US)
Grinding some cuts of beef may produce a little grizzle. Otherwise, it is great and you don't have to worry what else is mixed into the chopped meat. Note - this is not a cheese grater, but we tried it to grind hard cheese (like Romano). It took on a different texture because it was not grated (larger pieces) but very tasty in salads and pastas.

5 out of 5 stars A MUST GET ITEM!   February 27, 2010

This grinder is excellent and fast! I love making hash and it saves time and is easy to clean up! A must get add on.

5 out of 5 stars Love this to make fresh ground chicken for tacos!   February 27, 2010
T. Leech (Las Vegas)
I bought this attachment over 3 years ago and don't use it as frequently as some of my other kitchen appliances but it has been used many times. I use it to make fresh meatballs by grinding pork and beef together, I double grind it. I grind up lots of chicken and freeze it in 1 lb loaves using my foodsaver and that makes great tacos and chicken meatloaf. I've never had a single problem with this grinder. As with any grinder cleaning it is bothersome but after rinsing the meat chunks out of it I just throw it all in the dishwasher using a baby bottle basket for the smaller parts. This is great for my occasional grinding!
