5 out of 5 stars Works well, quite pleased   March 2, 2008

We've owned this rice cooker for about a year. No problems whatsoever. The rice on the very bottom does always turn brown and sticks to the pot but we just don't use the small part that sticks (and the instructions say this will happen). Can cook any amount of rice and it always comes out perfect. It does come out sticky but that's how I like it. One can always rinse the starch out of the rice more to make it less sticky. You don't have to watch the pot or anything. Pour 2 parts rice to 3 parts water, flip on the cook, and it automatically turns to warm when it's done. About 20 minutes. Cheap, efficient. No problems with mine. It does what it's called: cooks rice.

1 out of 5 stars Burnt out on first use   January 16, 2002
I followed the directions to the letter, and not only did it burn out and cease to function on the first batch, but the rice was sticky. This isn't my first rice cooker, so I know there are better products out there.
