AFter using the Rival crockpot, I decided the skillet was a good bet and it is. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the food cooks up fast and delicious.

If you like using an electric skillet, this one a keeper! I used one at a condo I rented, then had to have one of my own. It's a great size, heats up quickly and evenly, and has a window on the lid so I can see what's happening!

I received the electric skillet and discovered that the lid was plastic because it came with a large crack in it. They sure don't make things the way they used to! I was very disappointed and returned it to the store. I am looking for another one that has a metal lid rather than a cheapy plastic lid.

Throughout my adult life I have known Rival to be the makers of excellent products. Their 12" electric skillet/fry pan is no exception. I am more than pleased with my purchase of it and highly recommend it.
