wish I still had my old toaster July 18, 2010 Stan (Bedford, In) I used Consumer Reports for this purchase. Mistake. The plastic cord holder on the bottom broke off. On "bagel" setting it takes forever on the brownest setting & then it is still not toasted brown at all. I have to run it through again on a lower setting. Just very under powered I guess. Better look for something else. I almost forgot the crumb drawer. On mine its taped shut because it kept falling on the floor spilling crumbs when I got the toaster out of the cabinet.
A Great Toaster! July 2, 2010 Evie B. (Bay Area, California) I love my red Kitchen Aid. It's really cute and it works like a charm. It's just a simple toaster that does exactly what it's supposed to do: turn bread, English muffins, bagels, etc. into great toast..light to dark and crispy... as your heart desires. I recommend it!
Didn't make 5 months June 14, 2010 P. Miller (Baton Rouge, La United States) We received our previous toaster as a wedding gift 42 years ago and it just gave out. The Kitchen Aid didn't last 4 months.
KitchenAid 2-Slice White Toaster March 18, 2010 Sherry (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Completely thrilled with Kitchenaid 2-Slice Toaster. The description of the toaster was accurate- weight, size, material, features and functions. Toasts whole wheat bread and bagels perfectly. Easy to clean. Highly recommend.
If you like you toast brown this is not the toaster for you March 9, 2010 Nory Turner (Ardmore, PA, USA) It seems that you can't get a toaster that actually toasts anymore. I like my toast brown - to get that using this toaster I need to toast it twice on the high setting.
I would not buy this item again.
