Hand held blender March 9, 2010 Rodney Harrington (rural Missouri) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product from Amazon is as it was said to be and more. I have used it many times since I received it. It is powerful, has multiple speeds and is easy to use and clean. I'm pleased with it. The measuring and covered container that came with it is something I would not have known to buy but is very handy.
Great addition to my kitchen March 5, 2010 Jeanene (Washington, DC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like this blender. I use it frequently to make smoothies and to blend soups for a thicker consistency and have also used it to make pesto. I think the real benefits of this appliance are the facility of cleanup and the ability to stick it right into whatever you're cooking without the need to transfer food to another container as you would with a traditional blender or food processor. The mixing container that accompanies it is also a gem; it makes measuring ingredients easy and is a nice size, especially for making shakes or smoothies. Only minor complaints: it's a bit bulky (note the measurements), and the cord is thick and a bit unwieldy. I cannot compare it to other hand blenders because I have never owned another, but I would highly recommend this product if you want a solid tool that will make your cooking life a little easier.
Excellent March 4, 2010 J. Evans (Tuscaloosa, Alabama) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought one for my son-in-law for Christmas, and decided I needed one for me..
Heavy, handles fine, does just what I want it to do... Those that wrote
saying they had a hard time with it, or it was clumsy, or hard to assemble, etc.
don't know what they're talking about... It's great for just what it's designed
to do!

A very handy tool - while the cord is somewhat cumbersome the ability to run as long as I need it to without discharging is worth the price. I am unclear if it can support a beater attachment or not.
A very efficient tool February 3, 2010 SMR (Austin TX) This was a Christmas gift for my husband but in fact, I wanted it for myself! it works beautifully in puree-ing soup both while in the pot or a bowl. The weight is fine too. I have only good things to say about this product.
