Sine I love good coffee, this percolator does the job. I broke the glass top of my old coffee percolator, and I lucked up on this one. I am really glad I did. It serves me well.

We purchased this percolator at a local store. It is very easy to use. It has a nice classic look on my counter. No drips when pouring. It brews quckly (12 cups in about +/- 4 mins). The coffee tasted better than the previous drip (Folger's Colombian). All was great except.... it wasn't HOT! I thought hot was the perk of the percolator. I was looking forward to steam whirling up from my cup. No steam. Nothing. It was just better than lukewarm. I am disappointed.

I am very pleased with the Hamilton Beach 40616 Electric Percolator. It's very easy to use, has a good balance when pouring coffee (even at the dinner table), and the unit keeps my coffee HOT when I'm ready for a refill. The only question I should have asked is if a filter is used to prevent coffee grounds? There's not enough grounds at the bottom of the pot to alter my opinion, but having used a drip coffee maker for many years, I was surprised to see the grounds....I just chalk it up to extra flavor to the coffee bouquet! It's great using the percolator, am happy I made the switch, and I would highly recommend this purchase.

My husband loves the fact his coffee is hot and full body. Like the old days.. Will purchase another when this one fail..By the way Cummunity Coffee works great.

I've had this Percolator for several years. It's great and very fast. I lost the plug-in due to a recent move and had no trouble at all replacing it. Hamilton Beach also sent me a list of all the replacement parts available for this Model 40616 - should I need them at a later date. My coffee stays hot and fresh and never scorched. If I ever have to replace it (which I doubt), I'll get the exact replacement. It's the best coffee maker I've ever had. Sincerely,
