Got this grill as a Christmas gift and it has turned out to be one of my favorites! I'm amazed at how little smoke there was while cooking! And the clean up...so easy! Very happy with this product!

This grill is great! It's easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to clean. Most of all the food turns out delicious! I grill chicken, steaks, fish and vegetables. You even get the grill marks on all of the food, and the food does not stick to the grill. You don't even have to put any cooking spray on it because you fill the bottom pan that comes with the grill with water. I had been using different George Forman grills for years, and now I'm kicking myself for not getting this grill sooner! To me this is a real indoor grill that actually gives food a great grilled flavor. For anyone who is considering buying this grill, you will not be disappointed!

I, like others did a ton on research before purchasing this model. I live in a condo where an outdoor grill is not really an option and I also have a glass cooktop so I cannot use a grill pan. The no smoke thing was key for me because my smoke detector is right outside my kitchen and always goes off. So let me break it down.
What I like:
Gives you those dark grill lines that you are looking for.
Non stick coating stops sticking.
Easy to use
No smoking
What I don't like:
As others side, I wish it got a bit hotter a bit quicker.
Large and therefore difficult to store with all the pieces.
The grill is hard to clean between the grates.
Lid could be taller, it sits on top and touches some meats, not very sanitary.
Overall 3 stars for serving my purpose, but really not used too often. Probably the best you can expect from an electric grill.
 Heating Element fails October 25, 2009

DON'T BUY THIS GRILL. I've had this electric grill for a little over a year. It hasn't seen heavy use at all. I had family over yesterday and tried grilling sausage - the kind that are already cooked and just need heating.....the grill just couldn't get hot enough to even warm them up! Later, I tested the grill with an oven thermometer (with the lid on) and it did get up to 300 after 10 minutes. Just not hot enough to grill ANYTHING, especially with the lid off.
