Product Description It's not just a toaster - it's bakes and broils, too! A handsome unit constructed of highly polished stainless steel, this spacious toaster oven uses convection to circulate heated air around food for fast, more even cooking. In fact, two sets of three quartz heating-elements - a total output of 1600 watts - cook food up to 30% faster. An easy-to-read digital LCD display is a breeze to use. The unique crumb tray and nonstick interior surface make cleanup a pleasure. One-year warranty.

Krups Toaster total failure out of box March 7, 2010 Matt (NYS) Beware. I bought this unit and out of the box it locked up and would not shut off. Total fire hazard. I agree with most of the other reviews. This unit looks nice and looks well built but it's junk. I usually don't take the time to write reviews but I felt cheated on this because it fails in favor of burning down someones house if there not careful.
Top heating elements burn food, beeping alarm wakes the house! March 6, 2010 Sandy C. While this toaster oven does fine with toast and quick snacks, it's got two fatal flaws. The first is that the top and bottom heating elements cycle back and forth. If you've got anything in the oven taller than a pizza roll, the top element is going to toast it to a crisp. The second flaw: the thing beeps three times when you press the "Stop" button and *five* times when the timer runs out by itself. Why is that so bad? Well, it is once you know that you can hear those beeps in your backyard or down the street! Got a sleeping child? Don't even think about starting the oven! Krups, if you're reading this, put a setup option next to the digital clock that allows you to override the beeping! I know when my toast is done. I can see it. I don't need it announced to my neighbors!
Bad choice February 18, 2010 P. Marcoux I bought this small oven 1 1/2 year ago, because hightly recommanded by AMT. We are only two adults using it. At first, the oven worked well, but two months ago the door had to be replaced because it was not closing properly (60$ to repair) and now the digital display is also broken and it is expensive to replace. My son has a similar oven by Cuisinart for over 5 years now and it is reliable and without any repair so far. I should have picked the Cuisinart model instead.
Door hinge will break, it is just a matter of time February 16, 2010 M. Lorincz Purchased this relatively expensive unit with high hopes. Looks nice, toasts well, nice convection oven. If you are looking for a reliable toaster oven however, look elsewhere. The door hinge on this unit is VERY poorly designed. It broke within a year and a half of purchase, which resulted in a trip to the repair shop and an $80 repair bill. A year and half later the new door hinge broke as well. A problem peculiar to my toaster oven you say? Simply search the web for "KRUPS toaster oven door hinge" and you will find many others with the same problem for this model. You will also find that KRUPS has no interest in doing the right thing here- namely repairing this clearly faulty toaster oven free of charge. On the bright side, a well placed Bungee cord will keep your toaster oven door closed just fine, if you don't mind the smell of toasted Bungee cord....
Software Malfunction February 14, 2010 David B. Patteson I had high hopes for this toaster oven. Thought by spending a fair amount of dough I would get a dependable oven. Right out of the box the electronic timer malfunctions on a regular basis. Toast gets burned to a crisp if you aren't watching when timer blanks-out but toaster element continues heating.
