Love this product February 8, 2010 Lillie (Chicago, IL) I purchased this product for my daughter. She was pregnant at the time and had been having cravings for crushed ice. We had been using a blender but, with blenders, it depends on how hard the ice is. Well this snow cone maker, has been all I expected it to be and my daughter loves it. Its wintertime. I can hardly wait to be able to use it in the summer.
Excellent product February 1, 2010 Letisha Leahy (Douglassville, PA) My daughter wanted this so badly for Christmas and i was hesitant on the quality. We made snow cones on Christmas morning and i was impressed with the ease of use and how well the ice turned out. It is just like a snow cone from your favorite fair.
Great Snow Cone Maker! January 21, 2010 K. Dover (Arizona) We've had this for almost 4 years now and it has worked great every time without any problems! Shaves ice uniformly and quickly and it has never had any motor issues... Even when we have made snow cones for half the neighborhood. ;-) We have used it a lot- it is safe for the kiddos to help with, has never rusted or had any faulty parts... we have loved it.
Nostalgia SCM-502 Snow Cone Maker July 15, 2009 Visa We have returned this product. The gears stripped and blades rusted and the product was very poorly constructed. We sent it back and it was received by the company on July 14th at 10:16 AM.
Died on First Use! May 18, 2009 Mark Dennis (Rochester, NY) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Nostalgia Old Fashioned Snow Cone maker looks great. It's a perfect size for a party or a summer day with the kids. I bought this for my 3year old son's birthday and we plugged it in, made two snow cones and the motor stopped running. I thought maybe an ice cube was jammed so I emptied the top and it was clear. It never worked again. This is a terrible piece of junk. I cannot believe someone would even make and sell something this poor quality.
