Delivery as expected. Hardest part was untaggling the parts and assembly. Made great coffee right off the bat. Having read other reviews about a plastic taste I ran one pot through it with only water and a bit of white vinegar, then another pot with just water. I frankly don't think it made much difference as I could smell no plastic odor in anything, pretty neutral.
Only thing on which I agree with a couple of reviewers, the water is not quite as easy to put into the coffee maker as it might be. I don't like having to move the whole contraption out to insure water doesn't spill and goes only where it's supposed to. I don't like the absence of light for the digital clock. You have to duck your head down and look at it head-on to even see the time, if you need to for any reason. You don't after you set the clock and program it.
The major pluses are the coffee flavor it produces, the lid on the pot which is a bit different and easily removable and firmly secure in use, the adjustable temperature for the hot plate to keep the coffee hot, and the extended time of 4 hours you can program for the automatic shut off. Loss of one star is because of the absence of light on the clock and the water filler. No regrets, I'd replace with another if the need arose. Love it.

If you like your coffee hot, this is the machine for you. It brews consistently and has a handy auto shut-off to pour a cup before the pot is finished. Save money with the built in filter and enjoy fresh water with the additional water filter.

This coffee maker is amazing! Very durable (my friend put the grounds into the water compartment when she was drunk) After cleaning it still works perfectly. Simple to use and design is very modern and doesn't look out dated. The filter and pot are great quality. (not dents in filter and the handle isn't wobbly after all this use, also pot has no coffee stains and the glass is very durable.

We love this coffee maker! It makes a great cup of coffee, and the design of it makes it so that we have never had that occasional spill over like other coffee makers when the pot is not in correctly. We also have never had the filter over flow like in other coffee makers.
We would definitely purchase this again!

The claims by Cuisinart about the coffee tasting so good, are true. This is the best coffee I've ever had from a coffeemaker. The product was delivered quickly and met my expectations. The price, including shipping was better than I found in the local stores.
