Awesome indoor grill February 1, 2010 Istvan Kolnhofer (Scottsdale, Arizona) I love this machine. for $45 its a fantastic buy. With the rocket grill, indoor grilling can't be any more simple and cleaner - grill your meats in minutes, and there is nothing to clean up afterwards! The only drawback is that you really can't grill more than two servings at a time - so this is perfect for bachelors or couples, but not necessarily a entire family. Its also great for those who are dieting, because it really does a great job of sucking the fat out of meats - you can see where all the fat collects in the pouch. Great buy, highly recommended! (warning- don't leave the machine on when you arent using it, and don't force the timer either - it will burn the machine out, I learned that the hard way. take good care of it and your $50 will go a loooong ways)
Works great as an indoor grill December 17, 2009 Bernie 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had this grill for two months and so far I am very satisfied. Everything I have cooked in it has come out tender and cooked to my taste. My only complaint is the cost of the cooking bags and the fact that I have been unable to find them at a local store.
The best Grill to have December 11, 2009 Denise Williams I am really loving the way it tenderize your meat and the quick cooking time.
Maybe I'm grill challenged November 1, 2009 W. Robertson (Texas) I've tried three meals so far...
1. 1 frozen chicken breast. - Turned out as a B+, it was juicy, but a little tough, which I attributed to it being frozen at the start.
2. 2 defrosted chicken breasts done together - Turned out as a D. The grill squeezed the bulk of the breast to the lower part of the bag, overcooking the top portion and leaving the bottom raw.
3. 2 large fresh ground lamb patties - Turned out as a D. The grill did the same thing here as with the chicken breasts. It deformed the patties to a thin portion which was overcooked on top, and a fat portion which was raw at the bottom.
The vertical design of the grill I think has a problem with positioning the food properly for even cooking. I like to give new things the benefit of the doubt, and I might try to use this once again, but honestly it seems like a huge waste of time compared to the ease and control of a saute pan.
Rocket Grill September 12, 2009 This is a great grill. Cooks hamburgers and steaks and leaves them juicy and delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend.
