Seller shipped fast and the cost of the part and the shipping were both substantially less than elsewhere. OEM in GE bag, a snap to install.
Unfortunately, my water dispenser's problem was a GE design defect where the water line freezes in the door. I found reference to this once I had installed the valve and it still did not work. I taped some thin shipping foam on the back side of the door to protect the dispenser area from the fan, and turned the freezer control one notch warmer. I tried the water whenever I walked by, and about 4 hours later, the water dispenser worked again.
