When the weather is too cold to stand outside over the gas grill, fire up the Perfecto indoor grill instead. This electric grill has an embedded heating element and a special M-shaped grill design so the entire surface area heats up and grilling results are more consistent. Its adjustable, detachable thermostat has five temperature levels and can be adjusted low for grilling corn or other vegetables and higher for steaks or shrimp. The grill surface itself is nonstick, so less oil is required for cooking and swordfish steaks flip nicely without sticking. A nonstick splatter shield surrounds the edge of the grill to prevent walls and countertops from getting greasy and a drip tray below the grill's surface catches any juices. Both the cooking surface and tray remove easily for painless cleanup. For the most tender and juicy meats, the tempered glass lid fits over the grill to retain moisture while still allowing the chef to check on meat's progress. For safety, the Perfecto has cool-touch handles to prevent fingers from burns and an indicator light to show when the grill is heating up. I can't imagine a more perfect indoor grill than Delonghi BG24 Perfecto indoor grill. It is large enough to cook for a crowd, but fits nicely on kitchen countertops. It's super easy to clean, is virtually smokeless, and the food cooks great!!! I would reccommend this product as a must for anyone who likes grilled food year-round without having to brave outside elements.

This product works very well. Grilling indoors isn't much different - same spices and same grilling time. Like outdoor grilling, if you want the perfect steak, chop or chicken you have to grill with patience and a lot of attention (flipping). This grills sears well on high and grills well at a lower temp. My ten yr. old son is taking over and having fun grilling. My instruction to him is to flip each time the temp light comes on. He found out he can do it just as well as dad. This grill cleans easy and fast with hot tap water and the right brush. The first time you heat up this grill you should have it outside as it will season itself from the heat and smoke a little. I also recommend during this seasoning process to brush on butter or veg oil and even shake-on you favorite spices letting them burn into the grilling surface. Once properly seasoned clean it with hot tap water - now it's ready. Using the water pan as directed will give you smokeless indoor grilling, providing you don't burn your food! As the directions tell you - don't use metal utensil - don't scratch the easy clean surface. Through Amazon I got the Best Deal for this item. Thanks Amazon!

We bought this grill about a year ago. It worked fine. Hard to clean. Heavy. After a year the screws fell out of the handle and the cord shorted out so we have purchased a new grill. For $100 it should have lasted over a year.

THIS INDOOR GRILL IS AWESOME!!!!! I HAVE PURCHASED OTHER INDOOR GRILLS IN THE PAST AND NEVER LIKED THEM. I HAD ONE WHERE THE DRIP PAN WAS AWKWARD TO TAKE OUT AND THE GREASE AND WATER SPILLED ON MY COUNTER TOP. TOOK IT BACK. SAW THIS ONE ON AMAZON.COM AND PURCHASED IT AND RECEIVED IT WITHIN 2 DAYS TRIED IT AND I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! HEATS UP QUICKLY, MEATS ARE TENDER AND JUICY, CLEAN UP IS A BREEZE AND THE DRIP PAN IS GREAT. I NEVER SPILLED GREASE AGAIN.
IT IS WORTH THE MONEY AND YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY TO BUY IT. GEORGE FOREMAN - MOVE OVER YOU NOW HAVE COMPETION!!!

This grill does everything it claims. I use it to grill mainly chicken, pork and beef. Clean up is a breeze. A little soap and water, soft brush and the job is done. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend this grill.
